Online Video Statistics for June & July 2011
Here are a few of the online video statistics that caught our attention so far this summer:
comScore reported that 85.6 percent of the U.S. Internet audience viewed online video during June.
According to eMarketer a Yahoo!'s study revealed video viewers recalled seeing pre-, mid- and post-roll ads more often than any other display ad type. More than half (53%) of respondents who recalled seeing some advertising remembered viewing these in-stream ads.
ClickZ reports Internet users in the U.S. engaged in over 6.2 billion video viewing sessions in June, representing an all time high.
Video streaming grew 93 percent in the first six months of 2011 and video streaming now accounts for 39 percent of all mobile traffic according to Gigao.
